Jalandhar Bus Stand (Shaheed-E-Aazam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Interstate Bus Stand)

This is the intersection of roads leading to Garha, Punjab State War Memorial, Cool Road and BMC Chowk

Shops throng the bus stand’s periphery

Rickshaws, and behind 2-wheeler parking and on the other side is the car parking.

Though for popular routes (like Garha, Urban Estate, Railway Station, Ambedkar Chowk etc) auto-rickshaws are more economical- though they pack up to eight people but cost only Rs5/- per person and are often quicker.

The waiting hall cum canteens is at par with modern complexes, though I feel that given the amount of ads, the snacks should be served free..lols!
